New Year Concert @Santarém

SYNOPSIS:

Immersed in a festive and joyful atmosphere, this concert promises to be the auspicious prelude to the year 2024. Come and witness interpretations of the traditional Waltzes and Polkas of Johann Strauss II (1825-1899), including the fun “Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka” , the graceful “Pizzicato-Polka”, the majestic “Kaiser-Walzer” (Emperor’s Waltz), and the melodic “An der schönen blauen Donau” (Blue Danube). All works will be performed by the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Osvaldo Ferreira.
