Under the musical direction of maestro Osvaldo Ferreira, the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra presents one of the most magnificent works of the late Romantic symphonic repertoire.

Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 takes the audience on an intensely emotional journey, from its imposing funeral march at the beginning to the breathtaking triumph of the final movement. The work is widely recognized for its Adagietto, one of the most beautiful and introspective pieces in the orchestral repertoire, often associated with deep lyricism and contemplation.

In this concert, the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra delivers an unforgettable performance.
