Emma Morais

Emma Morais was born in 2004 in Juvisy-sur-Orge, France. At the age of four, she moved to Portugal, where she later began her piano studies—but it was through the French horn that she truly found her artistic voice.

She is currently studying at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, furthering her education under the guidance of Paulo Guerreiro and Luís Vieira. Previously, she completed the professional course in Wind and Percussion Performance (horn pathway) at ESPROARTE, where she studied with António Seabra.

Since 2017, Emma has been actively involved in orchestral projects, performing with several orchestras and ensembles including the Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa, the APROARTE Symphony Orchestra, the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, and the European project Sounds of Change. Her experience also includes masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Anneke Scott, Eric Terwilliger, Jörg Brückner, Nathaniel Silberschlag, Sarah Willis, and Stefan Jezierski.

Versatile, committed, and a strong team player, Emma continues to seek new musical challenges, always striving to grow, collaborate, and share the richness of music with audiences.
