Nazar Mykulyak, Ukrainian baritone. He studied at the National Academy of Music in Lviv. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Young Artists Development Programme of the Polish National Opera in Warsaw. The artist has received numerous prizes in prestigious vocal competitions, including 2nd Prize at the Ira Malanyuk Young Vocalists Competition in Ivano-Frankivsk, and 4th Prize plus a Special Award at the 3rd Vasyl Slipak International Competition for Young Vocalists in Lviv.
His stage debuts took place in 2023: as Silvio in Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo at the Stara Zagora Opera (Bulgaria), and as Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a production by the Opera Studio of the National Academy of Music in Lviv.
His concert career includes performances, among others, at the 2023 International Opera Awards Gala at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw, at the Lviv Philharmonic, as well as in the Philharmonic Halls of Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zielona Góra.
In 2024, he performed the role of Lucifero in Handel’s oratorio La Resurrezione with the Kymi Sinfonietta, on stages across Finland.
In 2025, he performed the role of Ambrogio in Werther by Johann Simon Mayr at the 29th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, and toured with the K&K Philharmoniker under Matthias Georg Kendlinger, performing his Symphony No. 3, Op. 10 in major European concert halls such as Berliner Philharmonie, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Kölner Philharmonie, Philharmonie Luxembourg, and Gewandhaus Leipzig.
In 2024, he was also awarded the prestigious Gaude Polonia Scholarship, granted by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
