The Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra presents one of the most sublime and moving works of the choral-symphonic repertoire — A German Requiem (Ein Deutsches Requiem) by Johannes Brahms!

Composed between 1865 and 1868, Brahms drew from passages of the Bible in German to create a universal work about sorrow, love, and redemption. The listener is thus invited on an emotional journey that moves from grief and contemplation to the radiant serenity of the conclusion.
