Anastasija Tomić was born on March 4, 2004, in Užice, Serbia. She began her musical education at the age of seven at the “Vojislav-Lale Stefanović” Primary Music School, studying violin. Demonstrating exceptional talent, she entered high school a year earlier than usual and graduated in the class of Prof. Luka Ilić.
Throughout her education, Anastasija has distinguished herself at numerous national competitions, achieving outstanding results. In addition to competitions, she has appeared in many concerts across the country, both as a soloist and as a guest performer. At the age of eight, she had the honor of performing as a guest at a concert by one of Serbia’s most renowned violinists, Jovan Kolundžija.
She has attended masterclasses with eminent professors, including Stefan Milenković, Nemanja Radulović, Roman Simović, Alexandre Da Costa, Alexandra Tirsu, Rusanda Panfili, Jovan Bogosavljević, Marija Rajković, and Jovan Kolundžija. Her talent was further recognized when she was selected among the ten participants of the International Masterclass with Prof. Stefan Milenković in both 2021 and 2022.
In October 2020, Anastasija made her debut as a soloist with the Mostar Philharmonic Orchestra at the Young Talents Concert, returning for another performance in June 2021. Following her participation in the masterclass of Prof. Jovan Bogosavljević and Prof. Marija Rajković, she gave a humanitarian solo concert in Užice.
She has also been a member of a Clarinet Quintet, performing Brahms’ and Mozart’s quintets in five dedicated chamber concerts. As co-concertmaster of the WBYO Orchestra, she has performed in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie and the Novi Sad Synagogue.
In 2024, she had the privilege of working with Prof. Nemanja Radulović, and in 2025, she was selected for the Masterclass of Prof. Roman Simović, concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra. That same year, she joined the FAMES Institute Orchestra in North Macedonia, where she collaborated with violinist Rusanda Panfili.
Anastasija is currently pursuing her studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under the guidance of Prof. Stefan Milenković.
