Anna Juhász was born in 1997 in the city of Miskolc, Hungary. She began studying the cello at the age of eight.
In 2010, she moved to Portugal, where she enrolled at the Conservatório-Escola das Artes da Madeira, studying under Professor László Szepesi. In 2012 and 2015, she took part in the OJ.COM orchestra training programme and participated in masterclasses at the Young Musicians’ Summer Academy in Debrecen.
In 2013, Anna Juhász was awarded second prize at the International Forum and received an Honourable Mention at the Marília Rocha competition in Vila do Conde. In 2014, she joined the Professional Instrumentalist Course, winning second prize at the 16th Sta. Cecília International Competition in Porto. The following year, she received another Honourable Mention at the Vasco Barbosa National String Competition.
In 2016, she began her studies at ESML (Lisbon School of Music), joining the class of Paulo Gaio Lima, where she completed her undergraduate degree.
Throughout her training, she attended masterclasses with renowned professors such as Tamás Mérei, Levon Mouradian, Tytus Miecznikowski, Marcio Carneiro, Henry-David Varema, and Ophélie Gaillard.
Over the past two years, she has regularly collaborated with Orquestra Sem Fronteiras, Ópera na Academia e na Cidade, the Sintra Municipal Orchestra, and the Madeira Classical Orchestra. She completed a Master’s degree in Music Teaching at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas under the guidance of Professor Miguel Rocha. She has also worked as a guest musician in a variety of projects, including with Fatspoon, João Borsch, Nuno Melo, and Tiago Nacarato. She is currently a cello teacher at ArtEduca in Famalicão.
